Paul McCartney<\/strong>\u2019s acclaimed photo exhibit is coming to New York.\u00a0Paul McCartney Photographs 1963\u201364: Eyes of the Storm<\/em>\u00a0is set to debut at the Brooklyn Museum\u00a0on May 3\u00a0and will\u00a0run until August 18.<\/p>\n

Eyes of the Storm<\/em>\u00a0features more than 250 photographs taken by McCartney between November 1963 and February 1964, giving fans insight into his point of view as\u00a0The Beatles\u00a0<\/strong>were becoming international superstars.<\/p>\n

The exhibit\u00a0first debuted\u00a0in June at London\u2019s National Portrait Gallery and then moved to Virginia\u2019s Chrysler Museum in December, where it is set to run until April 7.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince first arriving in New York in February 1964, Paul McCartney has built a strong, everlasting connection to the city,\u201d\u00a0Catherine Futter<\/strong>, director of Curatorial Affairs and senior curator of decorative arts at the Brooklyn Museum, shares. \u201cHis vibrant photographs from The Beatles\u2019 first visit capture the energy of the city, the excitement of the American fans, and the frenzy of the band\u2019s status as celebrities. Yet the images also record The Beatles\u2019 fun and delight with each other.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

She adds, \u201cThrough McCartney\u2019s lens, we feel the intensity of being at the center of such extraordinary events.”<\/p>\n
