If you missed the chance to see\u00a0Queen Rock Montreal<\/em>\u00a0in IMAX theaters last weekend, you now have a second chance.<\/p>\n

The film\u2019s IMAX release has been extended, with additional showings set to run from Friday, January 26, to Thursday, February 1.<\/p>\n

The extension comes after the initial IMAX weekend brought in $4.1 million globally, to make it the biggest IMAX exclusive event opening ever.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Queen<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0Brian May<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Roger Taylor<\/strong>\u00a0caught a screening of the IMAX film, and\u00a0in a new video<\/a>\u00a0they share what it was like to see\u00a0the concert on such a big screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never seen anything that makes you feel quite so involved with the performance,\u201d Roger shares. \u201cAnd the great surprise for me was how f****** good we were.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe quality of the shots is amazing, really amazing, but the energy is there, my God there\u2019s a lot of energy,\u201d May adds. \u201cAs Roger said when we finished watching it, ‘Bloody hell, we weren\u2019t bad were we?’\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for seeing the late\u00a0Freddie Mercury<\/strong>\u00a0onstage again, Brian notes, \u201cIt\u2019s just something you really treasure these days. You want to see every breath he takes. … It makes us very emotional seeing that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFred was just the most inspiring frontman. I have no bad memories, just joy working with him,\u201d Roger recalls. \u201cI guess it\u2019s a good snapshot of Freddie probably near the height of his powers.\u201d<\/p>\n
