On This Day, February 8, 1975\u2026<\/p>\n

Bob Dylan\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>fifteenth studio album\u00a0Blood on the Tracks\u00a0<\/em>entered the\u00a0Billboard\u00a0<\/em>200 album chart, eventually peaking at number one.<\/p>\n

The album, Dylan\u2019s return to Columbia Records after two albums with Asylum, featured such future classics as \u201cTangled Up in Blue,\u201d \u201cIdiot Wind,” \u201cShelter from the Storm” and others.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Considered one of Dylan\u2019s greatest albums,\u00a0Blood on the Tracks\u00a0<\/em>was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015. It has made several best-of album lists, including\u00a0Rolling Stone’s\u00a0<\/em>500 Greatest Albums of All Time list, landing at\u00a0#9 in 2020.<\/p>\n

The album was certified double Platinum by the RIAA, and remains one of Dylan’s best-selling studio releases.<\/p>\n

And Dylan continues to make music.\u00a0He released his most recent album of new material,\u00a0Rough and Rowdy Ways,\u00a0<\/em>in 2020. He\u2019s set to launch the latest leg of his Rough and Rowdy Ways tour on March 1 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.<\/p>\n
