Billy Joel<\/strong>\u00a0is once again revisiting the albums from the first half of his career.<\/p>\n

After releasing the box set\u00a0The Vinyl Collection, Vol. 1.\u00a0<\/em>in 2021, Joel is now giving fans a chance to purchase those vinyl albums individually.\u00a0They include\u00a01971’s\u00a0Cold Spring Harbor<\/em>, 1974’s\u00a0Streetlife Serenade<\/em>, 1976’s\u00a0Turnstiles<\/em>, 1977’s\u00a0The Stranger\u00a0<\/em>and 1978’s\u00a052nd Street,\u00a0<\/em>plus his first live album, 1981’s\u00a0Songs in the Attic<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He’s also releasing\u00a0a previously unreleased concert,\u00a0Live at the Great American Music Hall \u2013 1975<\/em>, which will be available for the first time outside the box set.<\/p>\n

The double-LP features a June 1975 San Francisco concert from the Streetlife Serenade Tour, with performances of \u201cNew York State of Mind,\u201d \u201cBallad of Billy The Kid,\u201d \u201cThe Entertainer\u201d and more.<\/p>\n

The albums from\u00a0The Vinyl Collection, Vol.1<\/em>\u00a0will be released April 5 and are\u00a0available for preorder<\/a>\u00a0now.<\/p>\n

Joel followed up\u00a0The Vinyl Collection, Vol.1\u00a0<\/em>\ufeffwith the November 2023 release of\u00a0The Vinyl Collection, Vol.2.\u00a0<\/em>It\u00a0featured\u00a01980\u2019s\u00a0Glass Houses<\/em>, 1982\u2019s\u00a0The Nylon Curtain<\/em>, 1983\u2019s\u00a0An Innocent Man<\/em>, 1986\u2019s\u00a0The Bridge,\u00a0<\/em>1989\u2019s\u00a0Storm Front\u00a0<\/em>and 1993\u2019s\u00a0The River of Dreams,\u00a0<\/em>\ufeffalong with\u00a0the 2001 instrumental album\u00a0Fantasies & Delusions\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0the three-LP live album\u00a0Billy Joel \u2013 Live from Long Island.<\/em><\/p>\n
