Carole King<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the many artists featured on the upcoming reimagining of the late\u00a0Glen Campbell<\/strong>\u2019s farewell album,\u00a0Ghosts on the Canvas,\u00a0<\/em>and now we\u00a0get to hear her contribution to the record.\u00a0<\/p>\n

King is featured on the just-released track \u201cThere\u2019s No Me Without You,\u201d a tune written by Campbell and producer\u00a0Julian Raymond<\/strong>\u00a0about Campbell\u2019s bond with his wife,\u00a0Kim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWords cannot express how much I enjoyed blending my voice with Glen’s on this incredibly touching love song,” King shares. “Hard to sing when you\u2019re crying.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time King has sung with Campbell. In the ’60s she was part of the\u00a0Keestone Family Singers<\/strong>, which also featured Campbell and\u00a0The<\/strong>\u00a0Everly Brothers<\/strong>\u2019\u00a0Phil Everly<\/strong>. They released one single, “Melodrama,” in 1962.<\/p>\n

Glen Campbell Duets – Ghost on the Canvas Sessions\u00a0<\/em>recreates all the songs on\u00a0Campbell’s 2011 farewell\u00a0album as duets, using Campbell\u2019s original vocals. Guest artists on the record include\u00a0Elton John<\/strong>,\u00a0Eric Clapton<\/strong>,\u00a0Sting<\/strong>,\u00a0Brian Wilson<\/strong>,\u00a0Dolly Parton<\/strong>,\u00a0Daryl Hall<\/strong>,\u00a0Eurythmics<\/strong>‘\u00a0Dave Stewart<\/strong>,\u00a0Foo Fighters\u00a0<\/strong>drummer\u00a0Josh Freese\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Cheap Trick<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0Rick Nielsen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
