Rod Stewart<\/strong> has hinted that he and his former Faces<\/strong> bandmate, Rolling Stones<\/strong> guitarist Ronnie Wood<\/strong>, may be releasing new music at some point.<\/span><\/p>\n

During an interview with <\/span>Vulture<\/strong><\/span><\/a> to promote his new album\u00a0<\/span>Swing Fever<\/span><\/em> with Jools Holland<\/strong>, which drops February 23, Stewart talked about songs that he’s written but not released and suggested they may wind up being Faces recordings.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of songs I\u2019ve written that I haven\u2019t put out and nobody knows about them,\u201d he says. \u201cMy songs are like my children. I gave birth to them and then I put them out there in the world and see how they do.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

He then shared that he\u2019s sent\u00a0some of those songs to Wood, explaining, \u201cI told him, \u2018This is stuff we\u2019ve recorded with my band, maybe the Faces would like to do it instead?\u2019\u201d He added, \u201cWe\u2019re still struggling to make this album. We\u2019ll see. Some of them might see the light of day.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Faces\u00a0is set to drop a special release for Record Store Day on April 20. <\/span>The BBC Session Recordings <\/span><\/em>is the second set of highlights from the band\u2019s appearances on the BBC over the years. They previously released\u00a0<\/span>Had Me A Real Good Time\u2026 With Faces Live In Session At The BBC 1971-1973\u00a0<\/span><\/em>for Record Store Day Black Friday in November.<\/span><\/p>\n
