Foreigner<\/strong> is one of the nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year, and producer Mark Ronson<\/strong> has recruited some celebrity friends to make the case for why\u00a0they deserve to be inducted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ronson, who\u2019s the stepson of Foreigner\u2019s Mick Jones<\/strong>, has shared a for-your-consideration video on <\/span>Instagram<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, featuring Foo Fighters<\/strong>\u2019 Dave Grohl<\/strong>, Jack Black<\/strong>, Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>\u2019 Slash<\/strong>, Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong>\u2019 Chad Smith<\/strong> and Queens of the Stone Age<\/strong>\u2019s Josh Homme<\/strong>, all sharing their love of the ’70s rock band.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEverything that made me want to be a record producer came from being in the studio watching Foreigner make records,\u201d Ronson writes. \u201cIt\u2019s also kind of crazy that this is the first time they\u2019ve ever been on the ballot for the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame – after 20 years of eligibility.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He adds, \u201cYes, Mick is my stepdad and I love him more than anything. But I\u2019m also a MEGA fan just like Dave, Jack, Slash, Chad and Josh\u2026 Enjoy this video and VOTE BABY VOTE!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve loved Foreigner since I got their debut record,\u201d Grohl shares in the clip. \u201cThere\u2019s one drum riff that I have used in more than a few songs.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Referring to Foreigner\u2019s #1 song,\u00a0Homme adds, \u201cYou want to know what love is? Love is putting Foreigner in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The clip ends with Black singing a portion of \u201cFeels Like the First Time\u201d and joking, \u201cHey, Rock\u00a0& Roll Hall of Fame, open the door! Foreigner\u2019s waiting outside. Let \u2019em in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Fan voting is open until April 26, with inductees to\u00a0be announced later that month. The ceremony, happening this fall in Cleveland, will\u00a0stream live on Disney+, followed by a highlights special airing later on ABC.<\/span><\/p>\n
