{"id":28864,"date":"2024-02-24T06:07:46","date_gmt":"2024-02-24T06:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/ace-frehley-doesnt-believe-kiss-is-really-done-with-touring\/"},"modified":"2024-02-24T06:07:46","modified_gmt":"2024-02-24T06:07:46","slug":"ace-frehley-doesnt-believe-kiss-is-really-done-with-touring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/ace-frehley-doesnt-believe-kiss-is-really-done-with-touring\/","title":{"rendered":"Ace Frehley doesn\u2019t believe KISS is really done with touring"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/syndication.abcaudio.com\/files\/2024-02-23\/Getty_Acefrehley_022224.jpg\" alt><figcaption>Gary Miller\/Getty Images<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While <strong>KISS<\/strong> retired from\u00a0touring back in December,\u00a0<strong>Paul Stanley<\/strong> and <strong>Gene Simmons<\/strong>&#8216;\u00a0former bandmate <strong>Ace Frehley<\/strong> doesn\u2019t believe they\u2019re actually calling it quits from the road.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;I\u2019m the only game in town because\u00a0KISS is supposedly retired \u2014 which I don\u2019t believe is gonna happen,\u201d Frehley tells <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rock\/ace-frehley-kiss-tour-10000-volts-1235613994\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Billboard<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0\u201cI wouldn\u2019t be surprised if they reformed.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">But until that happens, Frehley is embracing his KISS past on the road.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe added \u2018Shout It Out Loud\u2019 and \u2018Rock and Roll All Nite\u2019 because talking to people, they go \u2026 you gotta do those songs live \u2014 and I did and it went over fantastic,\u201d he said. \u201cWe ended the night with three\u00a0KISS songs\u00a0&#8230; and everybody was singing along and it was great.&#8221;<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And while it\u2019s often felt like Frehley and his former bandmates aren\u2019t on good terms,\u00a0he insists that\u2019s not really the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe\u2019re still friends,\u201d he says. \u201cI know a lot of people think we hate each other, but that\u2019s not true. We\u2019re just like a family, but sometimes brothers and sisters have arguments and so on. But when the s*** hits the fan, we\u2019re there for each other. I just wish them the best.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Frehley just released his new solo album,\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">10,000 Volts<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">. Fans can catch him performing songs from that album, as well as those KISS classics, on tour this year. His next show is happening March 28 in\u00a0New York City.
