Paul McCartney<\/strong> is one of the many artists who feel that Foreigner<\/strong> should be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

As previously reported, producer Mark Ronson<\/strong>, who is the stepson of Foreigner’s Mick Jones<\/strong>, recently shared a <\/span>star-studded video<\/strong><\/span><\/a> featuring Foo Fighters<\/strong>\u2019\u00a0Dave Grohl<\/strong>,\u00a0Jack Black<\/strong>,\u00a0Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>‘\u00a0Slash<\/strong>,\u00a0Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong>\u2019\u00a0Chad Smith\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Queens of the Stone Age<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0Josh Homme\u00a0<\/strong>explaining why they think Foreigner should be inducted this year. Apparently McCartney shares their opinion on the subject.<\/span><\/p>\n

During an appearance on <\/span>The Tonight Show with\ufeff Jimmy Fallon<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>, Ronson\u00a0debuted a video that McCartney sent to him for use in a for-your-consideration video, with Sir Paul saying, \u201cForeigner not in the Hall of Fame? What the f***?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never heard Paul McCartney curse,\u201d Ronson noted. \u201cHe\u2019s a knight! I don\u2019t want to be the first person to ever post a video of Paul McCartney dropping the f-bomb.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

But\u00a0Foreigner\u00a0apparently doesn’t have a problem with it because they <\/span>shared\u00a0the clip<\/strong><\/span><\/a> on social media with the caption, \u201cA man of many words\u2026\u00a0<\/span>@paulmccartney.\u00a0<\/span>All of your votes matter!” They also shared a link to the <\/span>Rock Hall fan vote<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. They are currently in second place behind Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fan voting is open until April 26, with inductees to be announced later that month. The ceremony, happening this fall in Cleveland, will stream live on Disney+, followed by a highlights special airing later on ABC.<\/span><\/p>\n

McCartney is a two-time member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He was inducted in 1988 with The Beatles<\/strong> and again in 1999 as a solo artist.<\/span><\/p>\n
