The new two-part Paul Simon<\/strong> documentary <\/span>In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon <\/span><\/em>is set to premiere\u00a0in March\u00a0on MGM+, and music fans are now getting their first taste of what to expect.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>first trailer<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for the series has just been released, featuring archival footage of Simon over the years, including clips of him onstage and in the studio, as well as footage of him\u00a0with his singing partner Art Garfunkel<\/strong>. There is also more recent footage of Simon in the studio recording his\u00a02023 studio album <\/span>Seven Psalms<\/span><\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never wanted to be anything other than a singer and a songwriter,\u201d Simon says in the clip. He later adds, \u201cWhat I\u2019ve learned is when you find a thing that produces a feeling of peace or joy, try and hold on to it. It\u2019s like bliss. That\u2019s music for me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon, <\/span><\/em>directed by Oscar winner Alex Gibney<\/strong>, airs March 17 and March 24 at 9 p.m. on MGM+.<\/span><\/p>\n
