Keith Richards<\/strong> is paying tribute to the late Lou Reed<\/strong>\u00a0on what would have been the rocker’s 82nd birthday.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rolling Stones<\/strong> guitarist has just shared a cover of \u201cI’m Waiting for the Man,\u201d a track he recorded for the upcoming compilation\u00a0<\/span>The Power of the Heart: A Tribute to Lou Reed. <\/span><\/em>It\u00a0will be\u00a0available on vinyl exclusively at independent\u00a0retailers\u00a0for Record Store Day on April 20, with the CD and digital release\u00a0happening\u00a0the same\u00a0day.<\/span><\/p>\n

“To me, Lou stood out,\u201d <\/span>Richards shared<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. \u201cThe real deal! Something important to American music and to ALL MUSIC! I miss him and his dog.”\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
