America<\/strong> co-founder Gerry Beckley<\/strong> is back with new music.<\/span><\/p>\n

The artist will release his self-titled 10th studio album on June 28 and has just dropped the album\u2019s debut single \u201c<\/span>Crazy<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d a tune he wrote over 10 years ago.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beckley says the track, which he finished with producer and collaborator Jeff Larson Beckley<\/strong>, was one he had forgotten about.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cJeff and I found it on a hard drive, and I thought, ‘That’s pretty good. Gimme some time,\u2019\u201d he says, “So, I went in and just did a bunch of extra stuff, layered it up, and it came out great.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Comparing the tune to America<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cSister Golden Hair\u201d he notes, \u201cit’s not about anybody in particular. There’s not a relationship I’m dancing around. But it’s just themes that I’ve had in my head.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Beckley says he really likes his new album, sharing, “I think the sum of all the parts is really great. And I can’t wait to do more.”<\/span><\/p>\n
