Bad Company<\/strong>‘s Paul Rodgers<\/strong>, ZZ Top<\/strong>‘s\u00a0Billy F Gibbons<\/strong> and Aerosmith<\/strong>‘s\u00a0Steven Tyler<\/strong> are just a few of the\u00a0A-list artists\u00a0making guest appearances on the upcoming blues-inspired album from Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong> guitarist Slash<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album, <\/span>Orgy of the Damned<\/span><\/em>, is due out May 17 and has the rocker\u00a0joined by a variety of guest vocalists. In addition to Gibbons and Rodgers, <\/span>The Black Crowes<\/strong>‘\u00a0Chris Robinson <\/strong>and AC\/DC<\/strong>‘s Brian Johnson\u00a0<\/strong>are featured on songs, as are\u00a0Iggy Pop<\/strong>, Gary Clark Jr<\/strong>., pop star\u00a0Demi Lovato\u00a0<\/strong>and country artist\u00a0Chris Stapleton<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tyler, who is currently recovering after fracturing his vocal chords, doesn\u2019t sing on the record, but he plays harmonica on the lead single, a rendition of\u00a0Howlin’ Wolf<\/strong>‘s “Killing Floor,” which features vocals by Johnson.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slash speaks further on\u00a0<\/span>Orgy of the Damned\u00a0<\/span><\/em>in an interview with\u00a0<\/span>Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>, which reports that a tour announcement is coming next week.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I just think that [this album] is coming from a different place [than usual],” Slash says. “Looking back on it, there was definitely a laidback, spontaneous approach to what I was doing. There was definitely a difference-making this record compared to some of the other stuff that I’ve done.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
