Forbes<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> magazine recently reported that Journey<\/strong>\u2019s classic track \u201cDon\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019\u201d was \u201cofficially the biggest song of all time,\u201d and it\u2019s gotten the band\u2019s former frontman Steve Perry<\/strong> in a reflective mood.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a post on <\/span>Instagram<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Perry, who left Journey in 1987, writes that the article left him \u201cemotionally stunned.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be part of such a moment as this made me reflect on my parents,\u201d he shares. \u201cBy that I mean, though I lost them both years ago, I was so happy for them because they are truly the reason this is happening.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He adds \u201cMy dad was a singer and both of them were very musical. So on behalf of my Mom and Dad, I thank every one of you for so many years of support.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Forbes<\/span><\/em>‘ report claimed that \u201cDon\u2019t Stop Believin\u2019\u201d was the biggest song because it was recently certified 18-times Platinum by the RIAA. It shares the milestone with Post Malone<\/strong> and Swae Lee<\/strong>\u2019s “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse),\u201d which earned the same certification in May.<\/span><\/p>\n
