INXS<\/strong> is looking back at the video for their song \u201cNever Tear Us Apart,\u201d 35 years after they filmed the clip in the Czech Republic city of Prague.<\/span><\/p>\n

The band shared a new\u00a0<\/span>behind-the-scenes video<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0of the making of the clip, with exclusive interviews with the band and never-before-seen footage, including deleted scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrew Farriss<\/strong>, INXS\u2019 co-songwriter, keyboardist and guitarist, talks about the development of the song, sharing, \u201cI wanted to do something that was very different than what we were doing before,\u201d noting their late frontman Michael Hutchence<\/strong> laughed when he first heard it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe thought it was funny because for us it\u2019s so different. I don\u2019t think he took it all that seriously,\u201d he says. \u201cAnd then when he took the tape away and listened to it he came back, he said, \u2018I love that. Whatever you\u2019re doing is great.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Interview clips from Hutchence are also heard in the clip, with him talking about their time in Prague filming. He shares, \u201cThe spirit of the people there is fantastic, that\u2019s what I loved, it really makes you appreciate what you have so much.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNever Tear Us Apart\u201d was the fourth single off INXS\u2019 blockbuster album <\/span>Kick<\/span><\/em>, which was released in 1987. The song was a top 10 hit for the band, peaking at #7 in the U.S. The <\/span>video for the song<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, directed by Richard Lowenstein<\/strong>, has been viewed over 101 million times on YouTube.<\/span><\/p>\n
