KISS<\/strong> is the latest\u00a0group to sell their catalog.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rockers, who wrapped their final tour in New York in December, have <\/span>made a deal<\/strong><\/span><\/a> with Pophouse, the Swedish company behind ABBA<\/strong>\u2019s London hologram show, <\/span>Voyage. <\/span><\/em>Pophouse\u00a0will acquire their music catalog, including master recordings and publishing rights, as well as their brand name and likeness.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Johan Lagerl\u00f6f<\/strong>, head of investment at Pophouse, said in a statement that the company\u2019s aim is \u201cto fulfill the band\u2019s vision to become immortal, and to let new generations discover and be part of the KISS journey and carry it forward.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe will safeguard and enrich this legacy through future global endeavors, by breathing new life into their characters and personas while also leveraging and elevating the visual world of KISS,”\u00a0Per Sundin<\/strong>, CEO at Pophouse, adds.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deal will include the development of the already announced KISS avatar show, which is set to debut in 2027.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

This partnership is not just a chapter; it\u2019s an eternal symphony of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll immortality.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

While Pophouse and KISS did not disclose the terms of the deal, <\/span>The Associated Press<\/strong><\/span><\/a> reports that Pophouse paid more than $300 million for the catalog.<\/span><\/p>\n
