The band plans to release 12 newly remastered collections throughout the year, made up of songs that until now were only available on vinyl, CD or cassette.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The first entry into the series looks at the <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Pop<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> track \u201cDiscoth\u00e8que,\u201d with U2 releasing 10 different remixes of the song, including one that\u2019s a whopping 10 minutes long. They also released two remixes of the B-side \u201cHoly Joe.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">To coincide with the launch, U2 has released a limited-edition <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Discotheque<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> vintage T-shirt, which is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.u2.com\/products\/discotheque-tee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>available to order now<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cDiscoth\u00e8que\u201d was the opening track of U2\u2019s 1997 album <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Pop<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0and was a top 10 hit for the band in the U.S.; it went to #1 in the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand and several other countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
