INXS<\/strong> frontman Michael Hutchence<\/strong> has been gone for nearly three decades, but his music lives on, and it turns out there\u2019s even more music to enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n

A never-before-heard Hutchence solo single, \u201c<\/span>One Way<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d has just been released, put together by his friend and producer\/musician\u00a0Danny Saber\u00a0<\/strong>from previously unreleased material.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019One Way\u2019 is the culmination of nearly two decades of work,\u201d Saber shares. \u201cOne of the fundamental reasons for releasing this music is to allow the fans to hear Michael\u2019s voice on something new and fresh, offering a glimpse into what might have been, and, in turn, reawakening millions of people who may have simply forgotten about him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The unreleased material, including demos and song ideas, was discovered in a locker in London in 2006, with some of that material featured in the 2017 documentary about Hutchence,\u00a0<\/span>The Last Rockstar<\/span><\/em>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the best things for me personally is that through this journey, I have come to a better understanding of what happened to Michael and why,\u201d Saber says. \u201cI want to share that perspective as I really feel Michael\u2019s story has so much relevance and value on so many levels, and along the way, hopefully we can shift the focus to how he lived and not how he died.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Finally, he notes, \u201cMichael deserves to take his place in the pantheon of great frontmen and finally get the recognition he and the band deserve.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hutchence’s\u00a0band INXS had a string of hits in the mid-’80s to early ’90s, including \u201cNeed You Tonight,\u201d their only U.S. #1, \u201cWhat You Need,\u201d \u201cNever Tear Us Apart,\u201d \u201cNew Sensation\u201d and \u201cSuicide Blonde.”<\/p>\n

Hutchence was found dead on November 22, 1997. His death was later ruled a suicide. He was 37.<\/span><\/p>\n
