Billy Idol\u00a0<\/strong>is the latest rocker to star in commercials for the company Workday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Continuing the theme from Workday’s Super Bowl ad, which featured\u00a0Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong>,\u00a0Joan Jett\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Gary Clark Jr.<\/strong>, the latest spots feature Idol,\u00a0blink-182<\/strong> drummer Travis Barker<\/strong> and\u00a0No Doubt <\/strong>frontwoman Gwen Stefani.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the ads, the trio calls out office workers for continuing to call each other “rock stars.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe you corporate types are still at it,\u201d Idol says in <\/span>one clip<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0\u201cJust stop calling each other rock stars.\u201d He later crashes a meeting to add, \u201cUsing responsible AI doesn\u2019t make you a rock star.”<\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span>another clip<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Idol sarcastically exclaims, “Look at my data-driven insights! I’m a rock star!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“While these rock icons might not consider us to be rock stars in the traditional sense, our customers around the world are the true rock stars of business and we want to celebrate that,” says Workday Chief Marketing Officer\u00a0Emma Chalwin<\/strong>. “We’re bringing that to life in the next wave of this multi-channel campaign with amazing talent, humor, and a bold, new edge aligned with what everyone loves about the Workday brand. We’re excited to show the world how Workday rocks the future of work.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Workday ads are streaming on\u00a0<\/span>You<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Tube<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and will air April 8-14 in connection with The Masters golf tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n
