Neil Young<\/strong> is set to kick off his Love Earth tour later this month, and he\u2019s got a big treat in store for fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> <\/span><\/em>reports that during a Zoom with subscribers to his <\/span>Neil Young Archives<\/strong><\/span><\/a> site,\u00a0the rocker revealed he\u2019s planning to perform the classic \u201cCortez The Killer” with previously lost lyrics that he hasn\u2019t performed in 50 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cJust a couple of days ago, I found the other verses,\u201d he shared. \u201cJust the lyrics\u2026We may have those lost lyrics in the show, which will be fun for me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Those verses were lost during the recording process due to a power outage to the recording console. The band was unaware and kept performing, but that resulted in one verse being missed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young\u00a0added, \u201cNow that I\u2019ve found the lyrics, I\u2019m trying to find exactly where they come in the song. I need to look at the tape and see where the cut is, where we lost some. I\u2019ll insert them there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Also on the Zoom, Young gave fans more info on the Crosby, Stills & Nash<\/strong> Fillmore East 1969\u00a0live album, which he previously announced on his site, as well as the planned <\/span>Archives III<\/span><\/em> and <\/span>IV<\/span><\/em> box sets, which will cover a period of 30 years each, with <\/span>IV<\/span><\/em> being the final installment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young\u2019s Love Earth tour is set to kick off with a two-night stand in San Diego, California, on April 24 and 25. A complete list of dates can be found at <\/span>neilyoungarchives<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Young and his band Crazy Horse<\/strong>\u00a0are also set to release the new album,\u00a0<\/span>FU##IN\u2019 UP, <\/span><\/em>on clear vinyl for Record Store Day, April 20. The black vinyl, CD and digital edition will be released April 26.<\/span><\/p>\n
