We\u2019re finally getting more details about the upcoming album\u00a0celebrating the soundtrack to\u00a0Talking Heads<\/strong>‘\u00a0iconic concert film,\u00a0<\/span>Stop Making Sense<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Up until now, we\u2019ve only known which artists will be on the album, <\/span>Everyone\u2019s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads\u2019 Stop Making Sense,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>with a few singles released, including versions of “Burning Down the House” and “Take Me to the River,” recorded by Paramore<\/strong> and Lorde<\/strong>, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, now, the complete track list is out,\u00a0with\u00a0Miley Cyrus<\/strong>\u00a0covering\u00a0“Psycho Killer,” The National<\/strong>\u00a0taking on\u00a0“Heaven” and The Linda Lindas<\/strong>\u00a0putting their\u00a0spin on “Found a Job.\u201d A new\u00a0cover has also just been released from the album, girl in red<\/strong>\u2019s cover of \u201c<\/span>Girlfriend is Better<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

“Talking Heads is an iconic band that helped define my identity when I was a teenager and they continue to inspire young people all around the world,” girl in red says. “Being a part of this tribute is so sick and I’m super grateful I was given the opportunity.”<\/span><\/p>\n

She adds, “Talking Heads forever!!!!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone’s Getting Involved, <\/span><\/em>due out May 17, is being put together by the film company A24, which released a theatrical restoration of the iconic 1984 concert film.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Considered by many to be the greatest concert film of all time,\u00a0Stop Making Sense,\u00a0<\/em>directed by\u00a0Jonathan Demme<\/strong>, was recorded over three shows at Hollywood\u2019s Pantages Theatre in December 1983; the documentary came out the following October.<\/p>\n
