The members of Talking Heads<\/strong> will once again reunite to talk about their groundbreaking documentary,\u00a0<\/span>Stop Making Sense.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

All four members of the group \u2014\u00a0David Byrne<\/strong>, Chris Frantz<\/strong>, Tina Weymouth<\/strong> and Jerry Harrison<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 will come together to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the concert documentary\u00a0at two\u00a0Q&A sessions following screenings of the film. They took part in a similar Q&A at the Toronto Film Festival in September.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooklyn, New York’s Kings Theatre <\/span>announced<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0the band members will be on hand for a June 13 screening of the film, with the Q&A moderated by Questlove<\/strong>. The event will also feature The Linda Lindas<\/strong> covering \u201cFound a Job\u201d from the upcoming <\/span>Stop Making Sense<\/span><\/em> tribute album, <\/span>Everyone\u2019s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads\u2019 Stop Making Sense, <\/span><\/em>which comes out May 17.<\/span><\/p>\n

A ticket presale is <\/span>open now<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, April 26.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Vegan<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> reports that the band will also be on hand for a June 4 screening of the film at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, which is where the original <\/span>Stop Making Sense<\/span><\/em> concerts took place. That night\u2019s Q&A will be moderated by Fred Armisen <\/strong>and will feature\u00a0Blondshell<\/strong> performing \u201cThank You For Sending Me an Angel,\u201d also from the tribute album.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Considered by many to be the greatest concert film of all time,\u00a0<\/span>Stop Making Sense,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>directed by\u00a0Jonathan Demme<\/strong>, was recorded over three shows at Pantages Theatre in December 1983; the documentary came out the following October.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

A <\/span>Stop Making Sense<\/span><\/em> Collectors Edition Blu-ray, featuring two extended cuts of the film, a 25-minute documentary and more, will be released May 8. It is <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now.<\/span><\/p>\n
