Former Rolling Stones<\/strong> bassist Bill Wyman<\/strong> reveals that almost two years passed before\u00a0his bandmates accepted\u00a0that he had actually quit the band.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a new interview with <\/span>The Mirror<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>, Wyman says that while he left the group in 1991, \u201cthey wouldn\u2019t believe me.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThey refused to accept I had left. It was not until 1993, when they were starting to get together to tour in 1994, when they said, \u2018You have actually now left, haven\u2019t you?\u2019 And I said, \u2018I left two years ago,\u2019\u201d he explains. \u201cThey finally accepted it, so they say I left in 1993.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As for why he quit, Wyman shares, \u201cI just had enough. It was half my life and I thought, \u2018I have got other things I want to do.\u2019\u201d He added, \u201cI just had this whole other life I wanted to live.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Rolling Stones just launched their \u201924 Hackney Diamonds tour, and while Wyman\u00a0is no longer with them, he hasn\u2019t forgotten what life on the road is like and even dreams about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe weird thing is ever since I\u2019ve left, up until the present day, I still dream I\u2019m on tour, like we are in a dressing room or we are in a hotel,\u201d he says. \u201cI still dream those dreams and I dream of other friends like David Bowie<\/strong>. They are all very nice but very confusing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
