Deep Purple<\/strong> has shared the first preview of their upcoming album,\u00a0<\/span>=1<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The band just dropped the new single \u201cPortable Door,\u201d along <\/span>with a video<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that has them performing the track in front of a backdrop of the album\u2019s artwork.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new album will reflect what the five of us create in the rehearsal room. Many of the songs, like \u2018Portable Door\u2019, were written in the first sessions and literally came together in\u00a0five or 10 minutes,\u201d guitarist\u00a0Simon McBride<\/strong>, who joined the band in 2022, shared in a recent interview. \u201cIt all was so easy and natural.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Ian Gillan<\/strong> added, \u201cThroughout Deep Purple\u2019s history, our best songs have always been those that were written in no time at all. We\u2019ve played what felt good and developed songs as we have always done.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
