His previous U.S. tour was in 1966 with <strong>The Beatles<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The North American leg of the Wings Over America World tour kicked off in Forth Worth, Texas, and wrapped with a three-night stand at the Forum in Inglewood, California, from June 21-23.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The tour had\u00a0McCartney &amp; Wings performing such songs as \u201cJet,\u201d \u201cBand on the Run,\u201d \u201cMaybe I\u2019m Amazed,\u201d \u201cLive and Let Die,\u201d and \u201cSilly Love Songs,\u201d along with Beatles classics like \u201cYesterday,\u201d \u201cLady Madonna,\u201d \u201cThe Long and Winding Road\u201d and \u201cBlackbird.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">Wings Over America<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, a triple live album recorded during the tour, was released in December 1976.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
