It was not easy. I\u2019d stopped it many times because it was just too brutal to watch for many reasons,\u201d she shared. \u201cOne, seeing Wolfie\u2019s pain. Two, seeing what a better job I could have done as a parent even though he turned out magnificently. I made a lot of mistakes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAnd three, seeing what I had turned of Ed\u2019s and my relationship into, some sort of fantasy, soulmate recreation of history,\u201d she added.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI fell in love with him when I was 20, and it rapidly declined into drugs, and alcohol, and infidelity,\u201d she explained. \u201cNothing that makes you feel loved and wanted and cared for. Nothing that would scream soulmate, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She said that following\u2019s Eddie\u2019s death, \u201cI was more than willing to put myself in the grieving widow category for a man that I hadn\u2019t lived with for 20 years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWhat we had together was this beautiful son that we both unconditionally loved,\u201d she concluded. \u201cThat\u2019s what I got out of that marriage was Wolfie, the best thing that ever happened to me.
