Blue \u00d6yster Cult<\/strong>\u00a0has just shared a cover of The Beatles<\/strong> track \u201cIf I Fell.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In the <\/span>video posted<\/strong><\/span><\/a> to YouTube, the\u00a0band explains that the performance was recorded in April 2016 at Red Studios Hollywood while they were working on a video for the 40th anniversary release of their fourth studio album,\u00a0<\/span>Agents of Fortune<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe decision was made not to use it at the time, but we were provided a ‘rough cut’ copy from which this is derived,” reads the description.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

BOC says their video was processed to black and white\u00a0to pay\u00a0tribute to The Beatles movie\u00a0<\/span>A Hard Days Night<\/span><\/em>, in which\u00a0“If I Fell” was featured.<\/span><\/p>\n

Blue \u00d6yster Cult\u00a0<\/strong>recently dropped the new album,\u00a0<\/span>Ghost Stories<\/span><\/em>, which their label called \u201ca fitting finale\u201d to their recording legacy, suggesting it may be BOC’s final album.<\/span><\/p>\n
