Carlos Santana<\/strong> made a splash when he performed at the original Woodstock in 1969, and it appears as though he\u2019s missing the experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an interview with the <\/span>Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0ahead of the return of his House of Blues residency, Santana reveals that he would love to put together another Woodstock-type concert.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make it a global caravan of harmony and oneness, on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and bring the best bands and the best musicians,\u201d the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer shared. \u201cI have talked to\u00a0Eric Clapton\u00a0<\/strong>and certain musicians like\u00a0Earth Wind & Fire<\/strong>, and they want to be a part of it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He adds, \u201cWhen I talk to promoters about this, they salivate. Everyone I talk to about it wants to be a part of this celebration.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The last time promoters tried to bring back Woodstock was in 2019 for the festival\u2019s 50th anniversary, but the show was eventually canceled.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for when Santana thinks <\/span>his<\/span><\/em> Woodstock could happen, the 76-year-old notes, \u201cThis is not outside the realm of possibilities, from 2025-2027.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
