{"id":29491,"date":"2024-05-10T21:04:13","date_gmt":"2024-05-10T21:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/richie-samboras-new-single-has-him-reminiscing-about-the-songs-that-wrote-my-life\/"},"modified":"2024-05-10T21:04:13","modified_gmt":"2024-05-10T21:04:13","slug":"richie-samboras-new-single-has-him-reminiscing-about-the-songs-that-wrote-my-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/richie-samboras-new-single-has-him-reminiscing-about-the-songs-that-wrote-my-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Richie Sambora&#8217;s new single has him reminiscing about the \u201cSongs That Wrote My Life\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/syndication.abcaudio.com\/files\/2024-05-10\/Getty_RichieSambora_051024.jpg\" alt><figcaption> Daniel Boczarski\/Getty Images for Unbridled Eve<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Richie Sambora<\/strong> is\u00a0back with even more new music.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The former <strong>Bon Jovi<\/strong> guitarist has just released \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4wMxWksOR2c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Songs That Wrote My Life<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">,\u201d the third\u00a0single he\u2019s released in as many weeks, following \u201cI Pray\u201d and \u201cLivin\u2019 Alone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In \u201cSongs That Wrote My Life,\u201d Richie sings of the\u00a0music\u00a0that shaped him, including <strong>The Rolling Stones<\/strong>\u2019 \u201cBrown Sugar\u201d and <strong>Don McLean<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cAmerican Pie.\u201d He also quotes the &#8220;Purple Haze&#8221; lyric \u201cexcuse me while I kiss the sky,\u201d name checks <strong>Jimmy Page<\/strong>, <strong>Bob Dylan<\/strong>, <strong>John Lennon<\/strong> and <strong>Paul McCartney<\/strong> and even drops in the <strong>Bon Jovi<\/strong> hit \u201cLivin\u2019 on a Prayer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And there\u2019s still more new music coming from Richie.
