Bruce Springsteen<\/strong> is getting another shot to land that \u201cE\u201d for the EGOT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Variety<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> reports that for the 12th and final season,\u00a0Larry David<\/strong>\u2019s HBO\/Max comedy <\/span>Curb Your Enthusiasm<\/span><\/em> has submitted 35 names for Emmy consideration, including Springsteen, who\u00a0played himself in several episodes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Boss is actually one of 15 actors submitted in the guest acting categories, along with Steve Buscemi<\/strong>, Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong>, Ted Danson<\/strong>, Vince Vaughn<\/strong>, Allison Janney<\/strong>\u00a0and Jerry Seinfeld<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Should Springsteen get nominated and win, he will join the\u00a019 other artists who have landed an EGOT \u2014 an Emmy, Grammy, Tony and Oscar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout his career, Springsteen has won 20 Grammys, nabbed an honorary Tony in 2018 for <\/span>Springsteen on Broadway<\/span><\/em>\u00a0and won an Oscar in\u00a01994 for Best Original Song for \u201cPhiladelphia.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He had previously been nominated for three Emmys: in 2001 for the HBO concert special <\/span>Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: Live in New York City<\/span><\/em>, in 2009 for his Super Bowl halftime show and in 2019 for his\u00a0<\/span>Springsteen on Broadway\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Netflix special.\u00a0He lost all three times.<\/span><\/p>\n
