Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band\u00a0<\/strong>kicked off their Darkness tour at Shea\u2019s in Buffalo, New York.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The tour, in support of Springsteen\u2019s fourth studio album,\u00a0Darkness on the Edge of Town<\/em>, included a three-night stand at the Palladium in New York City. It wrapped on New Year\u2019s Day 1979 in Cleveland, Ohio.<\/p>\n

The opening night set list included the live debuts of future Springsteen classics like \u201cBadlands,\u201d \u201cProve It All Night,\u201d \u201cRacing in the Street,\u201d \u201cThe Promised Land,\u201d \u201cCandy\u2019s Room\u201d and \u201cDarkness on the Edge of Town.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The set also included favorites like \u201cThunder Road,\u201d \u201cRosalita,\u201d \u201cBorn to Run\u201d and \u201cTenth Avenue Freeze Out.”<\/p>\n
