Bon Jovi<\/strong> is the subject of a new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame exhibit set to open June 8, one day after the band\u2019s new record, <\/span>FOREVER<\/span><\/em>, comes out.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bon Jovi Forever exhibit will cover an entire floor of the museum, giving fans an overview of the band\u2019s 40-year career, with never-before-seen artifacts from the band members.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although the official opening is on June 8, the\u00a0exhibit will actually launch on June 7 with a special preview and listening experience, where attendees will get an early look at the exhibit and get to listen to Bon Jovi\u2019s new album. More information\u00a0on the exhibit can be found at <\/span>rockhall.com<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in a new interview with <\/span>AARP The Magazine<\/span><\/em><\/a>, Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> reveals that\u00a0fans will hear him\u00a0singing about aging on the new album, with lyrics like, \u201cDon\u2019t try to be what you used to be.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to be the kid from <\/span>Slippery When Wet<\/span><\/em>,\u201d he shares, referring to Bon Jovi\u2019s\u00a01986 album, which was released when Jon was 24. \u201cI have no desire to be that kid.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a grander palette to write from. More life experience,\u201d he adds. \u201cI think that every record reflects somehow who I am at that time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Jon is still recovering from vocal surgery he had two years ago, and it\u2019s leaving his touring career up in the air, but he\u2019s not giving up hope that he’ll be back on the stage some day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether or not I can ever do a 100-show tour again, I don\u2019t know,\u201d he says. \u201cBut if I can have joy on the stage on night one, that would be great.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
