Bon Jovi<\/strong>‘s\u00a0been around for 40 years and frontman Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> is still amazed at how successful some of their songs have become.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of those tunes, the band\u2019s #1 hit \u201cLivin\u2019 On A Prayer,\u201d has over a 1.5 billion streams on Spotify. In a new interview with <\/span>Music Week<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Jon\u00a0lets fans know he has \u201clove, nothing but love\u201d for the track.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt evolves. But \u2018Livin\u2019 On a Prayer,\u2019 \u2018It\u2019s My Life\u2019 and \u2018Always\u2019 have more than a billion YouTube [views]. It\u2019s crazy what the catalog has done to touch people,\u201d he shares.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jon calls “Livin\u2019 On A Prayer\u201d \u201can anomaly beyond young, old, left, right, Republican, Democrat, black, white\u00a0… It’s bigger than all of us could have ever imagined in our wildest dreams.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He also believes \u201cLegendary,\u201d the first single off their new album,\u00a0<\/span>FOREVER<\/span><\/em>, could be just as big.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just something about those big ballads that are fascinating, so there’s nothing but love for all of them,” he says.<\/span><\/p>\n

FOREVER<\/span><\/em>\u00a0drops on June 7, and Jon is offering\u00a0some insight into\u00a0how he wrote one of the tracks, the ballad \u201cI Wrote You A Song.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you ever wonder where the inspiration comes from, let me ruin it for you,\u201d Jon jokes in a <\/span>new\u00a0video<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. \u201cI rolled out of bed, in the middle of the night, a notebook by the side of the bed, I\u2019m laying on the floor with a pen, piece of paper and I write verbatim the entire first verse.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

He relayed what he wrote to his wife and his friend Billy Falconer<\/strong>, and Falconer immediately suggested the title \u201cI Wrote You A Song.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He noted, \u201cSo, a man in his underwear can write a great verse in the middle of the night.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
