Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> revealed on <\/span>The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0Wednesday that he was witness to a historic recording session in New. York.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The rocker was talking about his job as the gofer at New York\u2019s Power Station recording studio when he was somewhere between 18 and 20 years old,\u00a0revealing that he saw two huge stars recording what would become an iconic song.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was literally the biggest recording studio in the world at the time,\u201d Jon said. \u201cOne day I looked through the control room door and I watched David Bowie<\/strong> and Freddie Mercury<\/strong> sing \u2018Under Pressure.\u2019 I saw them sing that vocal.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He also shared a funny encounter he had with The Rolling Stones<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy band was getting out of this cab and literally The Rolling Stones were getting out of a\u00a0limousine\u00a0behind us and a paparazzi jumped out the garbage can … start taking pictures of The Stones,” he said. \u201cThe guy yelled Mick<\/strong>, Mick, Mick give us a picture with The Stones,” and he grabbed me and my little band and said, ‘This is my band The Frogs.'”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jon\u00a0added, \u201cI would pay anything to get that photograph 45 years later.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course Jon went on to have a pretty successful\u00a0career in his own right.\u00a0Bon Jovi<\/strong>‘s\u00a0new album, FOREVER<\/em>, drops Friday.<\/p>\n
