The concerts were previously only available through Pete\u2019s Eel Pie website.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Shows featured on the release include <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Deep End Live at Brixton Academy<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">in London<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> recorded in 1985 and featuring <strong>Pink Floyd<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>Dave Gilmour<\/strong> on guitar, plus shows recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 1993, San Francisco\u2019s The Filmore in 1996, London\u2019s Shepherds Bush Empire in 1998 and the La Jolla Playhouse in La Jolla, California, in 2001. There\u2019s also a recording of two nights at London\u2019s Sadler\u2019s Wells Theatre, the only time Pete ever attempted a full <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Life House<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> show.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">Pete Townshend Live &gt; In Concert 1985-2001<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> will be released digitally and as a 14-CD box set, with all the music newly remastered by <strong>Jon Astley<\/strong>. It\u2019s the first time all these live albums have been available in one place. The set includes new art by Townshend collaborator <strong>Richard Evans<\/strong>, along with a 28-page\u00a0hard cover book\u00a0with a foreword by Pete and notes by <strong>Who<\/strong> archivist <strong>Matt Kent<\/strong>, along with rare photos and memorabilia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">Pete Townshend Live &gt; In Concert 1985-2001<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewho.com\/pete-townshend-14-cd-box-set-live-in-concert-1985-2001-out-26-july\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
