Back in April\u00a0Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong>,\u00a0who’s been married to his high school sweetheart,\u00a0Dorothea Hurley<\/strong>, since 1989, suggested he may have stepped out on her during their marriage, but he\u2019s now clarifying his comments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the original interview with Michael Strahan<\/strong>, Jon said, “I’m a rock\u00a0‘n’ roll star. I’m not a saint. You know, I’m not saying that, that there weren’t a hundred girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.” But in\u00a0a new interview with <\/span>The Guardian<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>, he’s indicating that he misspoke.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat was an interesting moment where the brain and lips don\u2019t connect,\u201d he said when the comment was brought up. \u201cWhat I meant to say was I\u2019ve had a hundred women who have\u00a0<\/span>thrown themselves at me<\/span><\/em>, but I didn\u2019t finish the sentence so I really came off like an arrogant cliche.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Talking about his 35-year marriage, Jon noted, \u201cI just got it right the first time. I was blessed to have known her since we were kids and I couldn\u2019t have ever imagined life any differently.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
