{"id":29724,"date":"2024-06-13T18:02:41","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T18:02:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/bruce-springsteen-resumes-tour-in-madrid-following-vocal-issues\/"},"modified":"2024-06-13T18:02:41","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T18:02:41","slug":"bruce-springsteen-resumes-tour-in-madrid-following-vocal-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/101gold\/bruce-springsteen-resumes-tour-in-madrid-following-vocal-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"Bruce Springsteen resumes tour in Madrid following vocal issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/syndication.abcaudio.com\/files\/2024-06-13\/Getty_BruceSPringsteen_061324.jpg\" alt><figcaption>Mariano Regidor\/Redferns<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Bruce Springsteen<\/strong> is back on the stage after taking a few weeks off to recover from vocal issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Springsteen and <strong>The E Street Band<\/strong> relaunched their tour in Madrid on Wednesday, kicking the show off with \u201cLonesome Day\u201d and \u201cNo Surrender.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.setlist.fm\/setlist\/bruce-springsteen\/2024\/estadio-metropolitano-madrid-spain-babbd1a.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>setlist.fm<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">, the\u00a0concert featured the tour debut of two songs. The first was the track &#8220;Frankie Fell in Love,&#8221; which was the first time Bruce played the\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">High Hopes<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> track with The E Street Band since 2014. He also performed a cover of <strong>John Fogerty<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cRockin\u2019 All Over The World,\u201d which was the first time he played it since 2016.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The rest of the set included such Springsteen classics as \u201cDarkness on the Edge of Town,\u201d &#8220;Land of Hopes and Dreams,&#8221; \u201cMy Hometown,\u201d \u201cThe River,\u201d \u201cBackstreets,\u201d \u201cShe\u2019s The One\u201d and \u201cBadlands,\u201d as well as &#8220;Hungry Heart,&#8221; \u201cThunder Road,\u201d \u201cDancing in the Dark\u201d and \u201cBorn to Run.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Springsteen announced in late May that he would have to postpone shows in Marseille, Prague and Milan \u201cunder doctor\u2019s direction.\u201d The three shows have now been rescheduled for summer 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Springsteen and The E Street Band play a second night in Madrid on Friday. The tour returns to North America in August.
