When The Who<\/strong>‘s Roger Daltrey<\/strong> kicked off his solo tour on June 10 he included a cover John Fogerty<\/strong>\u2019s Creedence Clearwater Revival<\/strong>\u00a0classic \u201cHave You Ever Seen The Rain\u201d in the set list, and Fogerty took to social media to thank him for the tribute.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fogerty shared a <\/span>clip to social media<\/strong><\/span><\/a> of Daltrey\u2019s introduction of the song, where he talked about Fogerty\u2019s 50-year fight to get his publishing back. Daltrey added that he\u2019s always been a Fogerty fan, calling him a \u201cwonderful guy\u201d and the \u201creal deal.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to my friend Roger Daltrey for celebrating with me!\u201d Fogerty shared in the caption to his post. \u201cCan\u2019t wait for us to jump on stage together sometime soon.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately,\u00a0that won’t be happening this weekend, as the\u00a0two Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ tours will just miss each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Daltrey brings his solo acoustic tour to Niagara Falls, Canada, on Friday, while\u00a0Fogerty\u2019s tour hits Bethel, New York, on Friday, playing the same venue Daltrey is booked to play on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n
