Longtime Moody Blues<\/strong> singer\/guitarist Justin Hayward<\/strong> is ready to launch the latest leg of his Blue World tour, which is a unique concert experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to performing,\u00a0the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer shares some stories about his songs, but he tells ABC Audio the tales don\u2019t distract from what\u2019s really important to him.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cReally, it’s about the music,\u201d he\u00a0says. \u201cAnd then, I often feel that it needs an introduction, sometimes a bit of explanation and context of what was happening.\u00a0I kind of get sidetracked into talking about things because I’m encouraged to.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hayward plans to play new songs, fan favorites and even some deep album cuts during his shows, and he says it\u2019s always a bit of a challenge to come up with the right set list that will please fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I’m sorry to say this because it sounds like showing off, but it’s never what I play, it’s what\u00a0I leave out,\u201d he says. \u201cBut that’s what keeps it all fresh and keeps it going.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Justin\u00a0loves that he can connect with fans through music,\u00a0sharing that\u00a0when he was growing up he and his brother would \u201clive our lives\u201d through music and their records,\u00a0which\u00a0is something fans can relate to.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I can feel it when you can see people going, ‘Oh, there’s the guy who sang it, that’s him and he’s doing it right now’ kind of thing,\u201d Justin says. \u201cIt creates a wonderful kind of magic in a room. It’s brilliant.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
