A new documentary is in the works about Gerry Goffin<\/strong>, the ex-husband and songwriting partner of Carole King<\/strong>, who was responsible for writing such hits as \u201cYou Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman” and \u201cWill You Still Love Me Tomorrow?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Variety<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> reports that the film, titled <\/span>Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?<\/span><\/em>, will feature interviews with King; the couple\u2019s daughters Louise<\/strong>\u00a0Goffin<\/strong> and Sherry Goffin Kondor<\/strong>; his widow,\u00a0Michele Conaway Goffin<\/strong>; his longtime manager,\u00a0Christine Russell<\/strong>; and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The film is expected to delve into Goffin\u2019s history as a songwriter, as well as his life with King, his struggle with mental health issues and more. It will\u00a0feature previously unseen footage, as well as music from Goffin\u2019s catalog, which includes previously unheard music.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo much has been made of my mom\u2019s life story, but I find my father\u2019s history equally fascinating,\u201d Sherry Goffin Kondor shares. \u201cIn spite of all the darkness that tormented him, he also had this beautiful inner light. I want people to see both.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Goffin is responsible for over 100 <\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Hot 100 hits, with his songs recorded not only by King, but by the likes of Aretha Franklin<\/strong>, Rod Stewart<\/strong>, Whitney Houston<\/strong>, Barbra Streisand<\/strong>, James Taylor<\/strong> and more.<\/span><\/p>\n
