Van Morrison<\/strong> is delving into his archives for another new album.\u00a0The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer just announced he\u2019ll release <\/span>New Arrangements and Duets<\/span><\/em> on Sept. 27.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis album represents a small percentage of the huge amount of unreleased material we are hoping to roll out in the near future, rather than letting it gather dust in some archive,\u201d Morrison <\/span>shared on Instagram<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Morrison didn\u2019t share many details about the songs on the record, although the description says big band tracks were recorded in 2014. It also includes songs with Willie Nelson<\/strong>, Joss Stone<\/strong>, Curtis Stigers<\/strong> and Kurt Elling<\/strong>, all recorded between 2018 and 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

And Morrison is giving fans their first preview of the record with the release of the song \u201c<\/span>Choppin Wood<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

New Arrangements and Duets<\/span><\/em> is <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now in a variety of formats, including CD, vinyl and limited-edition orange vinyl.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not the only new album coming from Morrison. He\u2019s already set to release <\/span>Be Just and Fear Not: Live at Orangefield<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>on July 12<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/em>The live album\u00a0was recorded during a series of concerts in August 2014 at his old high school in Belfast, Northern Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n

Morrison has only a handful of shows booked for 2024, the next being July 4 in Dublin. His only U.S. shows are happening Oct. 19 and Oct. 20 in Los Angeles. A complete list of dates can be found at <\/span>vanmorrison.com<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
