Linda Ronstadt<\/strong>\u2019s classic album <\/span>Cry Like a Rainstorm – Howl Like the Wind <\/span><\/em>is getting a special reissue in celebration of its 35th anniversary.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album is now out on 140-gram translucent blue vinyl, the first time the record has been made available on vinyl in years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Released October, 1989, <\/span>Cry Like a Rainstorm – Howl Like the Wind, <\/span><\/em>produced by Peter Asher<\/strong>, features two Grammy-winning songs, “Don\u2019t Know Much,\u201d which peaked at #2 on the <\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em> Hot 100, and \u201cAll My Life.\u201d Both songs were duets with the Neville Brothers\u2019 Aaron<\/strong> Neville<\/strong> and both went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cry Like a Rainstorm – Howl Like the Wind<\/span><\/em>\u00a0was recorded at the Skywalker Ranch in Marin Country, California, the home of director George Lucas<\/strong>, who\u00a0Ronstadt was engaged to until their breakup in 1988. The album peaked at #7 on the <\/span>Billboard<\/span><\/em> 200 Album chart and went on to be certified triple platinum.<\/span><\/p>\n
