Deep Purple<\/strong> has shared another new single from their upcoming album,\u00a0<\/span>=1<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The latest is the track \u201cLazy Sod,\u201d the third song they\u2019ve released from the album, following \u201cPictures of You\u201d and \u201cPortable Door.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

=1,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Deep Purple’s first album of new material since 2020’s\u00a0<\/span>Whoosh!, <\/span><\/em>will be released July 19. According to the press release, the title \u201csymbolizes the idea that in a world growing ever more complex, everything eventually simplifies down to a single, unified essence. Everything equals one.”\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Deep Purple, currently made up of frontman\u00a0Ian Gillan<\/strong>, bassist\u00a0Roger Glover<\/strong>, drummer\u00a0Ian Paice<\/strong>, keyboardist\u00a0Don Airey\u00a0<\/strong>and guitarist\u00a0Simon McBride<\/strong>, will kick off their North American =1 More Time tour on Aug. 14 in Hollywood, Florida.
