It was the subject of the 2008 documentary <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Man on Wire<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary. <strong>Joseph Gordon-Levitt<\/strong> played Petit in\u00a0a 2015 fictional movie based on the event,\u00a0<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">The Walk<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
