Paul McCartney & Wings<\/strong>\u00a0released the live album <\/span>One Hand Clapping <\/span><\/em>in June<\/span>,<\/span><\/em>\u00a0and now\u00a0McCartney\u00a0is sharing some more music recorded during the live sessions for the album.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer just shared a six-song EP, <\/span>One Hand Clapping – The Backyard<\/span><\/em>, featuring acoustic versions of\u00a0the unreleased track “Blackpool,” The Beatles<\/strong>‘\u00a0\u201cBlackbird,\u201d covers of Buddy Holly<\/strong>‘s “I\u2019m Gonna Love You Too” and \u201cPeggy Sue,\u201d and more. <\/span>The Backyard<\/span><\/em> was previously only available as\u00a0part of a One Hand Clapping online exclusive two-LP and 7-inch vinyl set.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

A post on McCartney\u2019s <\/span>Instagram page<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0says, \u201cStep into the garden at\u00a0<\/span>@abbeyroadstudios<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0in summer 1974 with \u2018The Backyard\u2019 Paul\u2019s acoustic performance recorded during a break in the \u2018One Hand Clapping\u2019 sessions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Backyard<\/span><\/em> is <\/span>now streaming<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0via digital outlets.<\/span>\u00a0A video for McCartney’s performance of “Blackpool<\/strong><\/a>” is now\u00a0on YouTube.<\/p>\n

One Hand Clapping\u00a0<\/span><\/em>was recorded at Abbey Road studios in August 1974 as a video documentary and possible live album, although it never officially came out. Parts of it did come out on bootlegs over the years, but the June release was its first official release.<\/span><\/p>\n

It includes live recordings of such Wings hits as \u201cLive and Let Die,\u201d \u201cBand on the Run,\u201d \u201cJet\u201d and \u201cMy Love,\u201d as well as Paul\u2019s solo song \u201cMaybe I\u2019m Amazed\u201d and reworked versions of Beatles songs like \u201cLet It Be,\u201d \u201cLady Madonna\u201d and “The Long and Winding Road.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
