The original Wall of Sound was created by sound engineer\u00a0<strong>Owsley Stanley<\/strong> for The Dead\u2019s 1974 concert tour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The replica stacked sound system, built by <strong>Anthony Coscia<\/strong>, has been on display at the Dead Forever Experience, the immersive pop-up in Las Vegas that opened to coincide with\u00a0Dead &amp; Company&#8217;s Dead Forever residency at the\u00a0Sphere.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Money raised from sweepstakes entries will\u00a0benefit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hopeforthecity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Hope for the City<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">, a nonprofit aiming to end hunger across the Vegas valley, and the Recording Academy\u2019s charitable\u00a0arm\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/musicares.org\/?utm_campaign=button_list_OfficialWebsite&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=later-linkinbio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>MusiCares<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Dead &amp; Company returns to the Las Vegas Sphere on Aug. 1, with their final show\u00a0happening on Aug. 10.
