You can register at <a href=\"https:\/\/events.democrats.org\/event\/655606\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">events.democrats.org<\/a>. According to a press release, the event will <em>&#8220;<\/em>encourage all attendees to embrace unity under the guiding question, &#8216;Are you kind?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Are you kind?&#8221; is, of course, a lyric from the <strong>Grateful Dead<\/strong>&#8216;s &#8220;Uncle John&#8217;s Band.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to organizers, there will be performances by &#8220;notable bands and artists&#8221; \u2014 none of whom have been revealed yet \u2014 in between &#8220;notable Grateful Dead enthusiasts&#8221; talking about the political issues at stake in the election. According to organizers, those enthusiasts include &#8220;musicians, entertainers, educators, politicians and athletes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not clear if the members of the Grateful Dead or <strong>Dead &amp; Company<\/strong> have any connection\u00a0to this event; they are not among the organizers.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
