Covers of songs by Neil Young<\/strong>, Keith Richards<\/strong> and Warren Zevon<\/strong> are among the tunes featured on the upcoming new album from legendary artist Willie Nelson<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last Leaf on the Tree,<\/span><\/em> Nelson\u2019s 76th solo studio album and his 153rd album overall, will feature 13 tracks, including three songs written by Willie and\/or his son Micah Nelson<\/strong>, who also served as producer on the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Willie tackles such tunes as Young\u2019s \u201cBroken Arrow\u201d and \u201cAre You Ready For The Country,\u201d Richards\u2019 \u201cRobbed Blind\u201d and Zevon\u2019s \u201cKeep Me In Your Heart.\u201d The album also\u00a0covers\u00a0Beck<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cLost Cause,\u201d The Flaming<\/strong> Lips<\/strong>\u2019 \u201cDo You Realize??\u201d and two Tom Waits<\/strong> tracks, \u201cHouse Where Nobody Lives\u201d and \u201c<\/span>Last Leaf<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d the latter of which is out now\u00a0via\u00a0<\/span>digital outlets<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The album also features a new rendition of Willie\u2019s 1967 track \u201cThe Ghost,\u201d as well as \u201cColor of Sound,\u201d a new song written by Willie and Micah, and Willie\u2019s take on\u00a0Micah’s\u00a02017 song \u201cWheels.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last Leaf on the Tree<\/span><\/em>\u00a0will be released\u00a0in a variety of formats, including digitally, on CD and on amber swirl double vinyl. All are <\/span>available for preorder<\/strong><\/span><\/a> now.<\/span><\/p>\n
