A previously unseen painting by rocker David Bowie<\/strong> has been shared with the public for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n

The blue and yellow abstract painting was <\/span>posted to Facebook<\/strong><\/span><\/a> by the late rocker\u2019s wife, supermodel Iman<\/strong>, with a post on Bowie\u2019s <\/span>official Facebook<\/strong><\/span><\/a> account explaining that until now the painting \u201chad only previously been seen partially in the background\u201d of a Bowie portrait by photographer Jimmy King<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The post notes, \u201cIman\u2019s photograph reveals a hitherto unseen vibrancy that shows the painting in all its glory.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Iman didn\u2019t offer any other information about artwork and simply captioned her post #BowieForever.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bowie passed away in January 2016 at the age of 69.<\/span><\/p>\n
