Well, it sounds like there\u2019s a good chance of it happening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The band\u2019s co-manager <strong>Bernie Cahill<\/strong> was interviewed by<\/span><em><span class=\"s1\"> <\/span><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/news.pollstar.com\/2024\/08\/22\/dead-co-co-manager-bernie-cahill-on-sphere-takeaways-drums-space-pillows-grateful-dead-60\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Pollstar<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a><span class=\"s1\"> about the residency, and he sounded hopeful that they\u2019ll do more shows there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cThe band loved playing the Sphere, I can tell you that. And they love the residency,\u201d he said. \u201cI know they would definitely be interested in going back.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Cahill isn\u2019t the first person to suggest Dead &amp; Company would be open to returning for more residency dates. In a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A9VbR8Tfx00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s2\"><strong>recent interview<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span class=\"s2\">, drummer <strong>Mickey Hart<\/strong> gave fans hope of more shows, sharing, \u201cThere\u2019s no reason why there wouldn\u2019t be.\u00a0Let\u2019s leave it at that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">Meanwhile, next year marks the 60th anniversary of the\u00a0<strong>Grateful Dead<\/strong>, and Cahill was asked about\u00a0whether\u00a0there are any plans in the works to celebrate the huge milestone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cIn terms of next year and what GD60 holds, it\u2019s all a conversation, we\u2019ll see,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot to celebrate.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
